Richard W. Sigman, President

 

is a senior executive with over thirty year’s experience as the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer or Chief Operating Officer of various companies, both public and private.  He has managed numerous turnaround assignments through financial and operational restructuring, cash stabilization and strategic direction.  He is an experienced negotiator in both acquisitions and divestitures for companies in the U.S., Canada and China.

 

His industry experience includes the manufacturing and distribution of consumer and OEM products.  He has worked with service industries and consulting firms.  Products include textiles, hand tools, forgings, popcorn, printing, mirrors, glass, heat treating, construction, asphalt plants, shipyards, freight, dryer silos, feature films, equipment rental, jewelry, chemicals, farm supplies, bio-tech projects and windows, among others.

 

Before forming Sigman & Associates, he was the Chief Financial Officer for an international public company.  It was under his direction that its IPO was consummated.  His responsibilities included human resources, investor relations, M & A, legal and regulatory matters, in addition to all financial areas.

 

Mr. Sigman began his business career with Arthur Andersen & Co.  After ten years, he joined one of his clients, Duro Metal Products, as the CFO and eventually became its Chief Operating Officer.  He acquired, managed and sold his own company prior to taking IWI Holding Limited public.

 

He received a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin.  Mr. Sigman has served as a member of the Board of Directors for various public and private companies, and remains active in civic and charitable activities.
