Michael A. Marczuk

 

is a senior financial professional with almost twenty years of progressive experience.  His industry experience includes, retail, mail order, food service, franchising, insurance, not-for profit and manufacturing, in both the public and private sectors.  In addition, he has worked with specialty consumer products, pizza, blankets, shipyards, trucking companies, asphalt plants, farm supplies, life sciences, rugs, other textiles and commodity manufacturing.

 

He has held management positions at ServiceMaster, a multi-billion dollar fortune 500 management and consumer services company, served as a Controller in a multi-million dollar subsidiary, and in recent years as an interim Chief Financial Officer or Controller in the insurance, food and manufacturing industries.  His background includes turnaround management, SEC and financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, cost analysis, cash management, forecasting and investor relations, among others.

 

Working with the management of companies, lenders and consultants, he has been successful in streamlining departments, increasing productivity while reducing head counts, managing tightening cash flows and preserving capital.  His knowledge of and experience with computer systems and applications helps to effectively and accurately provide timely information to senior executives, lenders and investors.

 

Mr. Marczuk received his B.S. in Accounting from Northern Illinois University, and is a certified public accountant.  He has served on the Board of Directors of a private franchise company and for a not-for-profit charter school in Chicago.
